Ben Weaver Talk

This week we had Ben Weaver come in talk about he works. He started off as a graphic designer and developed his skills into making photobooks. He is the art director of the Wire magazine and has co-founded Here Press, which is a publishing company mainly focusing on documentary photography. I found it very interesting hearing Ben talk about his work and how he constructs the photobooks with the artists. Ben then mentioned on his journey to making photobooks he started making catalogues for different companies. This is something which I find very interesting and enjoyed over my placement creating and design catalogues and other documents. I hope to do something along the same lines as what Ben is doing now, in the future.
