Jess is a North East photographer who is currently in her final year at the University of Huddersfield and will be the graduating class of 2020.

Growing up in Northumberland  her love for photography began. Jess' photographic practice centres around the objective view of her subjects and portraying the importance of the emotion, experience and atmosphere Jess has also been lucky to have the opportunity to discover her interest in curating and running exhibitions. This interest developed from working abroad in a Spanish gallery assisting with curation of exhibitions as well as developing her own portfolio. Whilst studying photography Jess has been able to hone her skills and specialise in documentary practice.  Jess' current ongoing project, Homeland, is a documentation of females in the farming industry
